Prez Hall is honored to have been invited to screen the shorts program and 2 feature-length narrative films of this wonderful new festival. We will be the ONLY venue only Cape Cod screening this program! Saturday 4/30 the shorts program shows at 5pm, followed by bonus feature The Sound & The Shadow (90 Min). at 7:30pm. Sunday 5/1 we'll repeat the shorts program at 2pm, followed by bonus feature Figurine (78 min) at 5pm. Tickets are $10 per day.
The Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival is all about the work of first and second time filmmakers. This first-time event took place in scenic Middlebury, Vermont in late August of 2015. The festival was a massive success, and organizers anticipate screening approximately 90 films in Year 2 of the MNFF, a diverse array of features and shorts across all genres, as selected by Artistic Director Jay Craven. Craven has previously presented two of his collaborative student/professional feature films, Northern Borders and Peter & John, at Prez Hall.
What truly distinguishes the Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival is what comes after the event. The MNFF created a New England Circuit that gives their top filmmakers valuable additional exposure throughout the region. Don't miss this opportunity to see exciting new work from these young artists!
