The Brewster Department of Natural Resources announces the third annual BEAUTIFY BREWSTER DAY on Saturday, April 26, from 9:30am-11:30am with an appreciation lunch to follow at Eddy Elementary from 11:30am-1:00pm. The rain date for this event is on Sunday, April 27.
Join Brewster Town employees, friends, and neighbors to help beautify Brewster in celebration of Earth Day 2014 (April 22), and to clean up our community in advance of BREWSTER IN BLOOM weekend, May 2-4.
Volunteers are needed for 16 separate sites spread out around Brewster. Each location will have a team leader who will answer questions and provide safety vests, bags, and gloves. In 2013, the teams collected 1,415 pounds of trash and 880 pounds of recyclable materials from Brewster roads and streets.
