"Curtis on Tour returns to the Atheneum with alumni from the world renowned Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. The program includes thrilling, diverse repertoire for classical guitar and strings.
The Curtis Institute of Music, "one of the world's finest music academies" (BBC Culture), produces top prizewinners of international competitions, soloists with major ensembles, and today's most promising artists. Embracing a "learn by doing" philosophy, Curtis educates and trains exceptionally gifted young musicians to engage with audiences through music-making of the highest caliber. With an average acceptance rate of around 4%, Curtis is among the most selective schools in the United States.
