Memorial Day ceremonies include parade, words of remembrance, and wreath-laying ceremonies at the towns war memorials:
Parade steps off at 10AM, from the Henry T. Wing School, proceeds through Sandwich Village to the lawn of Sandwich Public Library for a ceremony of speeches, songs, the firing of volleys by riflemen from the American Legion Post 188, and pealing of the bells to mark the passing of Sandwich veterans.
State Representative Randy Hunt will be the keynote speaker this year.
