While primarily known locally as an actor, director and playwright, Stephen has been writing and playing music for over fifty years now and his influences range from classic folk to pop to jazz to country and British Isles material, as well as his own quirky sense of humor. Long time Cape music fans may remember him from his years playing with The Narrow Land String Band in the 1980s. This will be Stephens first solo outing since his sold-out 2014 Pres Hall concert and it takes its title, Some of the Old Songs and Some Brand New from one of many new songs Stephen has written in the intervening years. Joining Stephen will be long time friend and fellow Narrow Land-er Rick Arnoldi on guitar and vocals, as well as specials guests Alison Weller, Tom Leidenfrost and, one of Stephens first musical compatriots, brother Michael Russell.
