Description:
Cape Cod Academys Pink Ribbon Club, WCOD DJ Stephanie Viva, Dance Designs, Sandwich Dance Academy and Troope Mirage Cape Cod, will convene in CCAs Upper School gym on Saturday March 18th (6-10 PM) to dance for 4 straight hours in hopes of raising lots of money to fund research to cure womens cancers.
Loosely modeled after the dance marathons of the 1920s, the event combines open freestyle dancing for participants of all ages, with performances by area dancers who will present dance styles ranging from jazz and ballet to lyrical and belly dancing!
Spectators are also welcome to cheer from the sidelines.
Admission is $20 at the door and includes a T-shirt, bottled water and a healthy snack.
All money raised is earmarked for Friends of Dana Farber to research a cure for womens cancers. In addition to dancing, there will be a raffle for a weekend stay at the Chatham Wayside Inn. Prizes are also awarded to the top 3 participants who bring in the most sponsorship money.
