The Ted Jellinek Trio, headed by Cape Cod jazz pianist Ted Jellinek, will perform The Great American Songbook on Sunday, March 5, from 4 to 6 PM at the Higher Grounds coffeehouse at Waquoit Congregational Church.
Mr. Jellinek will be joined by vocalist Liz Saunders and bassist Michael Ryle.
Mr. Jellinek has been playing jazz piano (also klezmer) since his teens, beginning with high school summers in the Catskills, and continuing as an active jazz musician around Cape Cod.
The event is free, although donations for the band will be accepted. The music will include standards from Cole Porter, Irving Berlin and Dorothy Fields. Food and coffee will be available for purchase.
