Description:
This class is aimed at students who have taken the Introduction to Lightroom classes at CCAA or those who have a basic knowledge of Lightroom and want to fine-tune or refresh their skills. This class will focus on the Develop Module and will go beyond basic editing. We will cover creative effects in this class and various techniques to make images pop and how to add color to a bland, boring sky, as well as how to use presets and creating custom, unique presets, using the HSL (hue/saturation/luminance panel) to selectively adjust colors in an image, batch processing, sharpening images, noise reduction and much more. Students should have a basic knowledge of how to import their images into Lightroom as well as some familiarity with the Develop module when signing up for this class. As we believe students learn best by participating and doing, this will be a hands-on class where students are encouraged to bring their own laptops and images they want to work on. Lightroom has evolved to the point where its possible to do most, if not all, editing without having to use other photo editing programs. We will show you how to take advantage of many of the new tools and editing options that are now available. We hope you can join us!
