Calling all poetry and music fans! Youre invited to the Cape Cod Poetry Group's Annual Valentine's Day Event, hosted by Barry Hellman at the Brewster Ladies Library. This event features poems and songs about all kinds of love  hot, cold, and complicated. Come to listen, or come to perform! You can read or sing your own work, or lend your voice to the work of someone else.

The program will include readings by featured poets Alice Kociemba and Rich Youmans, spotlight poet Paula Erickson, and a performance by singer/songwriter Monica Rizzio, as well as an open mic for poets and musicians. You can sign up in advance to secure your spot by emailing Barry Hellman at bmhellman@comcast.net with either Poem or Song in the subject line. Sign-up will also be available at the door on a first-come, first-served basis prior to the event. The number of poems or songs per performer will be announced at the event based on the total number of signups.

This event will take place on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 1 p.m. Admission is free, and refreshments will be provided. The Cape Cod Poetry Group and the Brewster Ladies Library Association are co-sponsors for this event.
