The 15th Annual Community Spelling Bee is a wonderful opportunity for the community to get together in the winter and benefits the programs of the Friends of Nantucket Public Schools. Teams of three compete for the ultimate speller award and range from students to businesses to non-for-profits - and everyone gets into the act!

While teams are competing, the High School Culinary Arts students put on a show of their own in the cafeteria, providing a warm spaghetti dinner for guests beginning at 5:30pm. It is a great opportunity for community members to visit the school and see what the kids are up to.
