This beach park boasts some of the most beautiful Cape Cod scenery and both routes take you on an off road journey across the front beach, through the dunes, and back down the marsh trail to the finish line.

Course Info: This is a barrier beach, so please stay on the marked course when travelling through the dunes to the marsh trail (this will also minimize the chances of getting ticks and encountering poison ivy). Terrain across the front beach is hard and soft sand with rocks, terrain across the dunes is mostly soft sand with varying inclines. Along the marsh trail is hard and soft sand, varying inclines and a beautiful view of Barnstable Harbor's vast marshes. There is a brief sprint up the paved road before finishing the race back in the parking lot where you checked in. A challenging race indeed! There will be water stations at the beginning and ends of each of the trails, along with snacks and waters at the end of the race.

What to Bring: Sunscreen, bug spray- there are ticks present on this beach- for exposed skin use something that is DEET based, for clothing- use permethrin, appropriate clothing (this is a rain or shine event), this is a rain or shine event so dress appropriately for your comfort.
