Students at this level must demonstrate a sound foundation in footwork, timing, lead & follow techniques, musicality, and dance terminology in at least the six main dances. Students should have 1-2 years of formal dance training, and dance socially on a regular basis. This level of classes will be more intensive. The figures will be more complex and challenging. Knowledge of the more popular dances is essential.
