2nd Annual Miles for Meghan - A 5k Run/Walk
Starts north of Freedom Hall on corner of Main St and Lowell Ave and finishes just south of Freedom Hall on Main Street, Cotuit at 11:15AM "On October 15th family and friends will hold the second annual 5k walk/run in loving memory of Meghan McCormack. At the 'Miles for Meghan' event, we will raise money to help fight Cystic Fibrosis as well as celebrate Meghan's love of life. Meghan lived an extremely active life and enjoyed everything from walks on the beach to mountain biking to flying around the racetrack representing Cape Cod Healthcare at Seaside Le Mans. Meghan had a vibrant personality and cherished her family, friends, and co-workers at Cape Cod Healthcare, where she happily worked for over 15 years. Meghan never let Cystic Fibrosis define her. She continues to be an inspiration to all who knew her." RUNNERS AND WALKERS WELCOME
The course will be certified and the event will be chip timed
Post race Party and Celebration and Awards at Cotuit's Freedom Hall immediately following the event - Live music, and refreshments, Cape Cod Beer will be featured. Entry fee: $28.50 until October 13, $30.00 October 14 and 15-race day.
Youth 13-18 $15.00, 7-12 $10.00, 6 and under free
