Violinist Ayane Kozasa and Cellist Paul Wiancko

Description:
The recital of Ayane Kozasa, viola and Paul Wiancko, cello, will reveal two remarkable musical personas. Ayane Kozasas solo career catapulted after winning the gold medal in the 2011 Primrose International Viola Competition. As a chamber musician, she is a founding member of the Aizuri Quartet and a prize winner of the 2015 London Wigmore Hall Competition. Paul Wiancko is a versatile musician who is also an arranger, composer and collaborator. He has shared the stage with jazz greats Etta James and Chick Corea, and classical musicians Midori, Yo-Yo Ma and Richard Goode. For their Highfield Hall recital, each artist will play a suite by J. S. Bach, Ms. Kozasa will perform Telemanns 12 Fantasies for Solo Viola and Mr. Wianckos American Haiku, commissioned for the duo, will highlight the afternoons musical fare.
