Fabiano is joined by local musicians Ron Ormsby on bass, Kareem Sanjaghi on drums and Bert Jackson on guitar. The quartet will play a mix of Brazilian classics, some lesser-known Brazilian gems and original music composed by Fabiano and by Bert.
Pianist Fabiano de Castro started in music at age 11 at the State Conservatory of Juiz de Fora and then in CIGAM (Ian Guest Musical Improvement Course) in Rio de Janeiro. In Juiz de Fora, Fabiano worked with some prominent names from the music scene until he created the Pro-Music Trio Jazz and recorded a live CD in the Pro Jazz Festival in 1999.
