On Fathers Day, June 19, right before the Cotuit Kettleers and Hyannis Harbor Hawks put a smile on fans faces, dessert-loving die-hards will face off in a blueberry pie-eating contest sponsored by the world-famous Centerville Pie Company.
The contest, which will start promptly at 4:35 pm, will pit father-son/daughter teams against each other behind home-plate as the contestants race to see who can clean their pie plate first.
All contestants will receive a Cotuit Kettleers yearbook. But, the winner will receive coveted Kettleers items an autographed baseball and Kettleers baseball cards. Also, courtesy of the Centerville Pie Co., the winning team will take home two pies of their choice.
For fans who are not participating in the pie-eating contest, during the 7th inning stretch, the Centerville Pie Co. will treat fans to free bite-sized pie samples.
