This show will highlight the vibrant diversity of the ceramics community active here on the Cape.

Participants Linda Bender, Sarah Caruso, Kathleen Cumming, Joe Fattori, Laurie Goldman, Diane Heart, Jeanmarie OClair, Kim Sheerin, Sue Wadoski and Susan Dimm Williams work in a rich variety of styles. Some hand build their work from slabs of clay, while others use a potters wheel to smoothly form vessels from porcelain or terracotta. Some decorate their work with intricate sgraffito carvings or mishima incisions or stamps.

Others explore the seemingly infinite artistic possibilities of different glazes and firing techniques. What they have in common is that all 10 artists are members of the Cape Cod Clay Club, an informal group of local potters which meets monthly throughout the year.

This event, organized by the artists themselves, is a rare opportunity to see so many different kinds of pottery on exhibit and for sale in a single Cape venue.
