Spirit of America Band's Spirit Winter Percussion and Barnstable High School presents the 7th annual "Day of Percussion." December 13 from 9am to 5pm (registration at 8:30am) at Barnstable High School.
Admission is FREE This day provides an opportunity for people of any age and skill level to be exposed to and inspired by the vast world of percussion music. Including clinics, performances, and hands on interaction, this year's Day of Percussion features world-class clinicians: - Aaron Jackson (Drumset & Zidjian, Norwell, MA),
- Colin McNutt (The Cadets, Allentown, PA),
- Thom Hannum (UMass Minutemen Band, Amherst, MA),
- Fabio Pirozzolo (World Percussionist , Stoneham, MA),
- Michael Burritt (Eastman School of Music, Rochester, NY),
- Maria Finkelmeier (Percussive Arts Society, Boston, MA)
