Description:
Trunk of Treat--a new kind of Halloween. Friday, October 30 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
Kids: Wear your favorite Halloween costume.
In the lower parking lot of the First Congregational Church of Yarmouth, kids and grownups will have fun with a different kind of Halloween. Rather than allowing your children to roam through neighborhoods looking for a few handouts, kids in full costume can go from trunk to trunk and fill their bags in a safe place with other children. Parents looking for decorating ideas may go to Pinterest and type in trunk or treat ideas.
If the fire department across the street isn't occupied with an emergency, a fire truck will be parked behind the cars so kids can see fire department equipment up close.
No scary costumes!
Immediately following this event, all are invited into Howes Hall for our 7th annual harvest party featuring a costume parade, apple bobbing, free pumpkins, pizza and pumpkin decorating, the Hokey Pokey, chicken dance, twist contest and limbo. Celebrate the harvest season with music and song, activities, games and snacks.
Admission is free!
