Description:
NESAA has many cats and kittens available for adoption. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and treated for parasites, ready to go to a loving Forever Home. You can check out Petfinder (and look for New England Society for Abandoned Animals) or go to facebook and find the latest adoptables. KIRBY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME. Kirby is a beautiful 1 year old tuxedo. She was one of 5 kittens who was born in a NESAA volunteer foster home. Kirby is a social and friendly cat who loves to be pet. She is relaxed and affectionate with people. Kirby sustained an injury, possibly caused by being hit by an auto. She has been treated by a vet and is now resting and recovering at the shelter. She will need about 3 more weeks of confined rest. For this reason, she can be fostered now and adopted after the vet okays her fit to adopt. For her best interest in healing, Kirby should not be fostered in a home with small children or dogs. After she is adoptable, she will probably be okay with children. We have not observed her in the presence of dogs. Kirby is a wonderful cat who will be a loving companion and member of the family. She is hoping for a responsible guardian who is going to make a life- long commitment to care for her in a loving forever home. PLEASE CONSIDER ADOPTING SISTERS LEENA AND SHEENA - TOGETHER! Leena is 13 years old. She arrived at the shelter with her sister, Sheena. Leena is a shy yet sweet kitty. If you approach her quietly, she will enjoy being gently pet. She will need time to get to know you but is quietly affectionate once she is comfortable with you. Leena will need time to adjust to new situations. Right now, she likes spending time in the comfort of an enclosed cat bed. Sheena is a sweet kitty who loves to be pet. She can be initially reserved but once she has had time to get to know you, she loves to be pet and is affectionate. Sheena may roll around in anticipation of being pet. She will need time to adjust to new situations. She is 13 yrs old. Sheena and Leena are a bonded pair. These sweet sisters deserve a committed and loving forever home. NESAA has several kittens with a variety of coat colors, patterns and coat length. We usually have males and females. , who will be available after they have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and have received a clean bill of health from the veterinarian. Their level of socialization with people, personalities, and temperament vary according to each individual. Please remember that they will only be cute little kittens for a short period of time, then you will have an adult cat to care for the rest of his or her life. Their eye color, coat length and color often change as they mature. Their adult body size can only be determined with time. If you are interested in making a responsible, lifetime commitment to one or more of these kittens, PLEASE CALL first to meet them as they will most likely find forever homes quickly..(508)771-7800. Please consider adopting an older cat or an adoptable kitten today and please share these stories to help us find heroes to adopt these deserving animals. All animals have been examined, spayed/neutered, vaccinated and are fully adoptable. Come see these cats at NESAAs satellite adoption center at PetSmart, Rte. 132 in Hyannis. Call 508.771.7800 or www.nesaa.org.
