From Georgia OKeefe to Imogene Cunningham, painters and photographers have been drawn to the beauty of flowers. In this one-day workshop, you will practice techniques for creating beautiful fine-art photographs of flowers and other plants. The emphasis will be on composition, depth of field, shutter speed and lighting. We will have some close-up filters to share, and you are welcome to bring macro lenses if you have them, but they are not required. In the morning, we will shoot outdoors at nearby locations. After lunch, we will move into the studio for an indoor session using lights and still life set ups. Toward the end of the day, we will discuss and demonstrate various editing techniques to optimize your images.
