Police and a pair of convicted burglars will present tips on how to avoid a home break-in during a forum entitled "The Perps and the Crime Solvers" on Monday at the Falmouth Senior Center, 300 Dillingham Ave.
The presentation, which will run from 1:30-3 p.m., begins with a video of two men who have broken into dozens of homes recently on the Cape, according to the Barnstable County Sheriff's Office. At the time of filming, the men were serving time at the Barnstable County Correctional Facility in Bourne. They have since been released.
John Szucs, who runs the Bureau of Criminal Investigation under the direction of Sheriff James Cummings, will explain the forensics used to identify and arrest suspected burglars, according to the sheriff's office.
