The New England chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation will sponsor a Cape Cod community walk to cure diabetes. The goal of the 5K (3.1 miles) walk is to raise awareness and funds to support individuals and families with a connection to Type 1 diabetes on the Cape and South Shore.

The event will include live music, an activities tent featuring arts and crafts, and food. The walk will take place rain or shine.
