Since late March, nine beginning radio students, from as nearby as Brookline and as far as Portugal and Australia, have been in Woods Hole learning to tell stories with sound as this springs Transom Story Workshop class.

The Cape Cod-and-Islands-centric stories theyve produced will be presented at a public listening event sponsored by Atlantic Public Media, the non-profit founder of public radio station WCAI.

Some locals profiled are expected to attend and a Q&A period with students will follow each piece.

The evening will conclude with a brief graduation ceremony.
