Friday, March 27 -- The Orleans-based, award-winning Spirit of America Winter Percussion Ensemble presents its 2015 show, TANGO, at a free public performance on Friday, March 27 at 7pm at Cape Cod Regional Technical High School (351 Pleasant Lake Ave., Harwich). The high-impact music is inspired by Michel Camilo, Moulin Rouge, and Astor Piazzolla and features traditional Latin American cajon drums. Combined with precision marching, dance, and theatrical effects, TANGO is a passionate exploration of love. The evening will include the 11-minute show as well as a dessert auction benefiting Spirit's upcoming trip to the WinterGuard International (WGI) World Championships in Dayton, Ohio.
