Cape Wildlife Center will present Seals: Beauty and the Beast, a talk by Sharon Young, marine issues field director for the Humane Society of the United States and a former marine mammal researcher.

Part of the centers Wildlife on Tap lecture series, the talk will address types of seals, what seals eat, their impact on our coastal ecosystem, threats, population and laws that protect the species.

Proceeds will help Cape Wildlife Center care for about 2,000 patients this year.

Snacks will be provided. Beer will be available for purchase.
