The Alzheimers Family Support Center and the Cultural Center of Cape Cod present an afternoon reading and conversation with Greg OBrien, author of On Pluto: Inside the Mind of Alzheimers. A reception and book signing will follow.

Greg OBriens maternal grandfather and mother died of Alzheimers. A carrier of a marker gene for the disease, in 2009 he was also diagnosed with Alzheimers .

On Pluto: Inside the Mind of Alzheimers, is a rare first-person account of OBriens experience living with the disease.

Greg OBrien is former editor and publisher of the Cape Codder and Register newspapers, former editor of Cape Cod Life, and was a founding managing director of Community Newspaper Company in Boston. He lives in Brewster.
