Free, sponsored by the Friends of the Wellfleet Libraries. All welcome, tea & refreshments. "Classical/Jazz music is a love affair between classical music and jazz. Classical harmonies are extended in a jazz direction and arrangements look for ways to integrate improvised solos within the compositions.
No one understands this better than our own Cape Cod Composer Michael Ryle who by day plays Bass in the Cape Cod Symphony but in the wee small hours of the morning will be found in the clubs playing jazz."
The five member group will be presenting Michael's music as well as music from the 30's and 40's, Claude Bolling, and a duet by Rossini.
