Description:
Allen McGarry has been playing music at The Island Merchant in Hyannis virtually every Friday for over four years. With wide ranging musical tastes and a diverse repertoire that includes originals, older songs from The Mills Brothers to new material from Ingrid Michaelson and Passenger, he has attracted great local musicians to join him on a regular basis and has hosted everything from Accordionists to vibraphone players. The Merchant takes on a very congenial living room atmosphere during these early evening performances and sees repeat visits from local residents and out of towners alike.
