The series kicks off Saturday with vocalist Cerise Bynoe with the Charlie Jamieson Trio, which includes Charlie Jamieson on piano, Rich Hill on bass and Phil Vitali on drums in what is described as a traditional jazz power trio.

Bynoe sings in the style of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Sarah Vaughn, according to a press release, but the show might also include Latin numbers (in Spanish), plus some R&B and blues.
