Villagers will cook, share and compete for a trophy with their best soups, stews, breads and desserts for the seventh annual Taste of Marstons Mills, sponsored by Marstons Mills Public Library. Participants may sample and vote for favorites.

A cookbook with entries from the past three years will be available for $15. (The library would like to point out that the Patriots game doesnt start until 8:30 -- so, no excuses.)

Tickets: $10, $5 for children 10 and younger; available at the library.
