The Nantucket Historical Association will host a festival celebrating the history of diversity on the island and the opening of a 2015 exhibit New Arrivals, New Voices. The exhibit examines how English settlers and Azorean mariners in the past, as well as El Salvadoran, Bulgarian, Thai and Nepalese families today meet the common challenges of language, livelihood and finding a place to live. There will be exhibits, tours, craft activities, a photo portrait station, games and refreshments.
