On September 27 and 28, 2014, hundreds of dahlias will be on display at the Provincetown Inn at the tip of the Cape during the third annual Provincetown Dahlia Show. Exhibitors from throughout Cape Cod and the rest of New England will join Provincetowns own gardeners to submit their best dahlia blooms in this show sanctioned by the American Dahlia Society.

Ribbons and cash awards are given in many categories -- by size and form of dahlia, whether entered by a professional or novice grower, and for basket and theme arrangements. The arrangements theme for 2014 will be First Landing, a celebration of Provincetowns legacy as Americas first destination.

The exhibit is open for public viewing on Saturday from 2pm  6pm and Sunday from 10am  3pm.

Admission is free, though a donation is suggested to help defray costs associated with the show.

As in prior years, bouquets will also be sold at the end of the show.
