Description:
The Green Briar Nature Center and Jam Kitchen will host its annual Cape Cod Cranberry Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 6 Discovery Hill Road, East Sandwich.
Homemade cranberry crisp, clam chowder and chili will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the historic kitchen along with a cooking demonstration using traditional cranberry recipes.
Other events include a guided tour through the neighboring cranberry bog; and a visit with P.J. Hamel, author of the King Arthur Flour Cookbooks, who will demonstrate quick and easy baking of cream shortcakes, scones and Welsh cakes and answer baking questions.
