The 23rd annual Truro Treasures Gala Weekend will feature a packed schedule of events, including an Arts and Crafts Fair and Flea Market, running 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Truro Central School, Route 6, North Truro (and at the same time and place Sunday).
Other events include a pancake breakfast, adult treasure hunt, silent art auction, antiques appraisals, kids' activities and an evening poetry and prose reading.
The weekend opens Friday with a talk by Mark McGrath on this year's theme, Truro's Special Places, from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Highland House Museum in North Truro, and an evening cocktail party from 5 to 7 p.m. at The Whitman House Restaurant, 5 Great Hollow Road.
Sunday activities include a 5K run/walk, golf tournament, dog show, antique and classic car show, and the closing event, the annual Grape Stomp and Jazz Festival, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Truro Vineyards.
