Misuzu Tanaka is an avid chamber music performer. Her most recent project is a Concert Duo with the vibrant young virtuoso clarinetist, Maksim Shtrykov, described by critics as a soloist with &a clarity thats viscerally breathtaking. Together, both musicians became passionate advocates of clarinet music and made it their mission to bring to the wider audience the rich repertoire written for Clarinet and Piano.
Their concerts present the soloistic qualities that both instruments possess. Ms. Tanaka and Mr. Shtrykov both attended The Juilliard School and have had an extensive performing career individually.
