Insect Safari: 10 am-6 pm. Visitors will be challenged to visit each of the ten sculptures and will learn fun facts about the insects depicted at each.

Crafty Critters: 10 am-2 pm. Make your own interesting insects to take home.

Jackson Gillman:11 am  11:45 am. Live performance on the Hidden Hollow" stage. Laugh and learn with Jackson Gillman, the Stand-Up Chameleon, as he turns into a fly, mosquito, doodlebug, ant, cockroach, and other crawlies in his educational low-life revue.

Bug Ball: 12 pm-4 pm. Create a bug mask, use costume elements and puppets, mimic insect moves, and join the dance party on the Hidden Hollow stage.

Author Amy Stewart: 12 pm  12:30 pm. Members book signing with Amy Stewart, New York Times best-selling author of Wicked Bugs, Wicked Plants, The Drunken Botanist and more!

Jackson Gillmans Insect Safari: 1 pm. Starting at the Daddy Long Legs Big Bugs sculpture, laugh and learn with Jackson Gillman as you follow him around the grounds to many of the Big Bugs sculptures, where he will present a custom-fit routine at each site.

Wicked Bugs Talk with Amy Stewart: 1 pm  2 pm. A darkly comical look at the sinister side of our relationship with the insect world! Based on Stewarts New York Times best-seller, youll meet creatures that infest, infect, and openly wreak havoc on human affairs. From the worlds most painful hornet, to the flies that transmit deadly diseases, to millipedes that stop traffic, to the book worms that devour libraries, to the Japanese beetles munching on your roses, Wicked Bugs delves into the extraordinary power of six and eight-legged creatures. Its a mix of history, science, murder, and intrigue that begins  but doesnt end  in your own backyard. This 45 minute talk is accompanied by dazzling photos, historical images, copper engravings and other visual illustrations. *Recommended for an adult audience*

Live Performance by The Ticks: 2 pm  3 pm. Gather at the Outdoor Concert Stage to experience this three-woman band performs original driving pop-punk and rock songs that feature clever lyrics and wry, wicked humor sure to get you dancing.
