Description:
Green Briar Jam Kitchen will host Blueberry Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the kitchen, 6 Discovery Hill Road, East Sandwich.
Guests may enjoy a homemade blueberry dessert and watch a demonstration of old-fashioned blueberry jam-making as well as sample jams and jellies in the gift shop, view gallery exhibits, browse a used book sale, visit the nature center's resident animals and walk through the wildflower garden.
From 1-3 p.m., P.J. Hamel, author of King Arthur Flour Cookbooks will demonstrate how to make fast and easy cream shortcakes, scones and Welsh cakes.
