These free half-hour concerts give audience members an opportunity to hear and learn about the churchs magnificent Casavant pipe organ. Concerts held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month are traditional recitals, featuring music by many of the finest organ composers past and present.
On the first and third Wednesdays of the month, audience members will be able to take a closer look at the organ during one of our demonstration concerts. These concerts, aimed towards children and those who are unfamiliar with the instrument, take listeners on a journey through the various sounds and components of the organ. By using specially composed organ demonstration pieces along with narration, these concerts provide people interested in the organ and organ playing with an opportunity to have a closer look at the king of all instruments.
These concerts provide a wonderful setting to relax and recharge during the busy summer time. Following each concert, audience members are invited to join us on the front lawn for tie-dye.
