Wellfleet Shellfish Promotion and Tasting, Inc. (SPAT) -- the non-profit group that brings you the annual Wellfleet OysterFestwill host another quality arts and crafts event in two weeks. SummerFair, rated one of the top three craft shows on Cape Cod, will be held on Eastham's Windmill Green just off of Route 6 on Wednesday and Thursday, July 23 and 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine. The Fair features 60 of the finest local and regional artisans as well as fresh local food. The event is free and open to the public. The SummerFair will showcase a wide variety of artistic creations such as illustration, painting, jewelry, ceramics, clothing, glass and much more! Enjoy food from Wellfleet raw bar by Field Point Oyster Farm and The Local Scoop. Color Pop Face Painting will offer creative face painting and glitter tattoo's using only cosmetic grade allergy sensitive products. SPAT will have a booth to educate attendees about shellfishing and aquaculture and share its mission to preserve Wellfleets harbor, aquaculture and wild fisheries.
