Pack the kids, lawn chairs & picnic baskets and join us for Mashpee's 13th Annual Community Picnic and Fireworks on Tuesday, July 1st at 5:00pm at Mashpee High School, 500 Old Barnstable Road, off of Route 151.

The family festivities will begin at 5:00pm with a variety of entertainers, performers and games. Family field events kick off at 5:30PM to include, relay races, sack race, and dont miss the water balloon challenge at 6:00PM. Performances begin at 6:15PM with World Class Frisbee Show by Todd Brodeur, K-9 Dog Show at 7:00PM, and music by the Jeff Lowe Band at 7:30PM. Games and activities will include a dunk tank, carnival-style games, face painting, moon bounce, obstacle course, toy race car tracks game, train rides, pony rides & the Lazer Tag Dome! There will be plenty of food and refreshments for purchase including BBQ pulled pork, hot dogs, hamburgers, sausage/pepper/onions, grilled cheese, novelty & scooped ice cream, cotton candy, popcorn, fried dough and Cape Cod Cannolis. The night will conclude at 9:30PM with a spectacular fireworks display by Atlas Fireworks. Free parking is available at the high school. Handicapped parking will be available. Alcohol, smoking and pets are not allowed on school grounds.

The event is planned & organized by volunteer members of the Mashpee Special Events Committee and sponsored by the Town of Mashpee, Mashpee Commons, Budget Blinds of Cape Cod, Bangkok Thai Cuisine, Dinos Pizza, Stanley Steemer, Bosuns Marine, Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank and Representative David Vieira.
