Description:
The Outer Cape Chorale, Provincetown's 120-voice community chorus, will present Carl Orff's Carmina Burana at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Provincetown Town Hall, 260 Commercial St., with Jon Arterton conducting.
Admission is free, with a goodwill collection taken.
The chorale first performed Carmina Burana a 1936 cantata based on medieval poems 10 years ago and thought it was time to revisit the popular piece. The chorale will be accompanied by John Thomas and Chuck Griffeth on keyboards, and Paul Gross, Jeff Myers, Mark Prall and Timur Rubinshteyn on percussion.
