Located in Dennisport, West Bend Music is a roots-based music studio offering instruction to children and adult students in voice, music theory, songwriting and many instruments, including guitar, piano, violin, mandolin, ukulele, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet and harmonica. The recital programs will feature classical compositions, pop, country, jazz and traditional Irish and Scottish music. Many recital numbers will be ensemble presentations by various classes, including the Traditional Irish Tune Class, the West Bend Kids Ukulele Class, and West Bend's String Group, which features young fiddle players accompanied by student piano players. Keltic Kids play tenor banjo, fiddle and penny whistle, among other instruments. The eight youngsters in the Peanut Fiddle Group will perform such American tunes as "Boil 'em Cabbage" and "Oh, Susanna." West Bend's classically trained piano instructor Abigail Field will provide accompaniment.
