New England Society for Abandoned Animals (NESAA) is organizing a special Adoption Event offering no fee adoptions for those looking to give an adult cat (one year or older) a Home for the Holidays.

Home for the Holidays No Fee Adoptions applies to all adult cats to be adopted between November 1st through January 1, 2013 at NESAAs shelter, located at 89 South Main Street, Unit A1, Centerville (on the same street as Four Seas Ice Cream) or at our satellite NESAA adoption center located inside the Hyannis Pet Smart, route 132, Festival Plaza in Hyannis.

NESAA has a large number of wonderful adult cats available, who are so deserving of a loving home. All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and have been treated for fleas, ticks, worms and have received a full vet exam. The cats are healthy and ready to go to a caring home. After meeting with an Adoption Counselor, an Adoption application with reference checks, vet check and lease checks will be required prior to adoption approval. NESAA has found thousands of animals Forever Homes, since it began in 2006 with the help of the NESAA Admission & Recovery Center located at 89 South Main Street in Centerville, and the NESAA Satellite Adoption Center located inside Petsmart, Hyannis. NESAA is a no-kill shelter. NESAA gets called often to help take care upwards of 1,400 animals a year that have been abandoned or not well cared for. NESAA does the original hands on rescue, supports the daily care and pays for all medical expenses. This is all very costly and even with a discount from local veterinarians; NESAA still spends thousands of dollars in medical care annually. NESAA is a nonprofit and does not receive government, state or municipal funding so it is totally dependent on donations and adoption fees to support the animals coming into its shelter.
