William (Chip) Reilly, Barnstable Country Emergency Preparedness Director, will present a storms and other climate-related events preparedness presentation in recognition of National Preparedness Month at the Sandwich Public Library on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 6:30pm.
This event is free to the public however, registration is required through the Library Event Calendar.
All are welcome, and caregivers of others are encouraged to attend. During the presentation, Mr. Reilly will discuss the importance of individual emergency preparedness and the significance of building an emergency kit, having a safety plan, and being properly informed. The discussion will also focus on educating seniors and vulnerable members of the community on preparing for emergency sheltering prior to a weather event or incident.
