Choral Art Society of the South Shore - 66ths annual holiday concert!
Magnificat! A Celtic Christmas will be a joyful celebration of the season and feature the full SATB chorus, string quartet, and pianist. Selected works explore holiday classics and take the audience on a journey through England, Ireland, and Wales.
Included in the program: - "Magnificat" - Francesco Durante
- "What Sweeter Music" - John Rutter
- "A Welsh Lullaby" - K. Lee Scott
- "Don Oíche Úd i mBeithil" - D. Mooney
- "From an Irish Cabin" - Douglas E. Wagner
And many more including classic Christmas songs and some carol singalongs. There are two performances to choose from:
Saturday December 7th at 7 PM in Hingham at the Hingham House of Prayer, 916 Main Street.
Sunday December 8th at 4 PM in Scituate at St. Luke's Episcopal, 465 First Parish Road. Ticket Pricing: $25 general admission, Children 18 and under are free!
$10 Card to Culture offered in partnership with the Mass Cultural Council.
