Long Before Titanic: Ocean Liners Lost in the Early Days of Steam - Vincent Miles, an associate fellow of the Royal Historical Society, tells the stories of eight steam-powered ocean liners lost at sea before the Titanic, with more than twice the loss of life. And, like so much other history, there are links to Cape Cod.
