CAPE COMMUNITY ORCHESTRA presents Musical Inspirations , a concert celebrating composers and their inspirations. CCO will perform works by Respighi, Berlioz and Dvorak. The concert will feature two of the orchestras members in, the Blue Rhapsody . The work is composed by Michael Donovan, written for piano and orchestra, and will showcase Susan Saposnik as piano soloist. Conducted by Nancy Torrente, the Cape Community Orchestra is an all-volunteer full symphony. The orchestra presents two public concerts each spring and fall , as well as two childrens concerts. The orchestra is supported by private donations and grants from organizations including the Cape Cod Melody Tent. The Monomoy High School is a new home to the orchestra, which also rehearses in the Harwich community Center. The concert will be repeated on Sunday afternoon, November 19, at 3:00 PM at the Yarmouth Senior Center. Concerts are free, with donations gratefully accepted.
