Description:
    The Bourne Society for Historic Preservation will host its 17th Old Time Harvest Festival on Saturday.
The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Briggs-McDermott House grounds on Sandwich Road.
The Alonzo Booth Blacksmith Shop and the Alan Green Carriage House will be open. The forge will be running and blacksmiths will demonstrate their skills. The societys antique carriage collection will also be on display.
The event will feature pony rides, a puppet shop, old-time games, face painting and crafts, along with ice cream and apple cider, and artisan demonstrations.
Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for students 13-18 and $4 for kids 12 and under.
