To find a brilliant soloist for a Mozart violin concerto, we're going to open the door to the whole world, discovering truly creative artists via video auditions on YouTube and selecting a winner to perform with us. It's a modern way to find a soulmate for the orchestra. The chosen soloist will also join the orchestra for Oscar-winning composer Tan Dun's Internet Symphony, a celebration of the global music community."
